London’s Santa Dash: The Charity Event of the season!

Can you give Santa a run for his money?

He has one night to cover the world. You have one day to cover 5k.

London Santa Dash, the capital’s biggest fun run for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is back and we couldn’t be happier to support the charity’s great cause this Christmas. With 618 children and young people arriving at GOSH every day, the funds from this year’s charity run will go to the hospital’s specialist play therapy group, who provide activities to aid children through their treatment and recovery, and help them understand their illness.

Christmas is a time for friends and family to come together and as Fred says in Dickens’ Christmas classic, Christmas is ‘a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time’ and what better cause to run for than Great Ormond Street Hospital who provide support, care and life changing treatments to children from all across the UK.

So, gather your reindeers (aka. Family and team members) and join in the fun this Sunday, December 3rd at Clapham Common. With over 4000 Santas already signed up, you can join them in running, jogging or walking the 5k or 10k route in your own Santa suit. ’Tis the season for giving after all, and with assisting bands, singers, and snow machine zones along the route, and a winter wonderland village, the whole family can enjoy the day.

Let’s see if you can be as light on your feet as the real Santa!

Got a charity event of your own taking place this Christmas?

If you need entry bands, traditional Tyvek wristbands are the perfect choice for disposable single day events and there is also a litter free option for those large venues. For charity events scheduled to last several days, vinyl wristbands are the right choice. Keepsake charity wristbands in silicone are also available and come in three different sizes to fit adults, youths and young children. Place them in goodie bags and your audience can remember their contribution to your charity.
