Easter Wristbands for the Whole Family

While many of us enjoy the chocolate side of the Easter weekend, we all know the meaning behind the holiday and while scoffing chocolate goodies is fun, it is a time to spend with family too.

Looking into family activities to satisfy every family member can be difficult, which is why we have done some digging for you and found some Easter Event ideas which could be a day out for you and your family.

Easter Holiday Breaks

A long weekend away from the home environment does everyone good. Get out in the spring whether with the kids this Easter and enjoy long weekend breaks in cottages across the northern parts of England, or visit the south for a stay near the beach. Cross the sea for a short stay in Northern Ireland and children can join an Easter kids camp where they can learn to surf at Limavady.

Zoo Trips

Gathering the family to see the animals, zoos are a great day out for Easter weekend. From cheeky monkeys to feeding giraffes, the whole family can get involved in the fun. Children can take part in zoo challenges to win medals while younger children can play in designated child playgrounds.

English Heritage Easter Activities

With over 23 Easter Adventure Quests happening across the UK, English Heritage offers a variety of events for families this March. From medieval castles to panoramic views climbing an Iron Age hillfort, there are plenty of adventures for you and your family to embark on.

Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt

National Trust offers 16 dates for their Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt event: a self-guided hunt for clues to solve a puzzle and win a chocolate prize. This event is to help fundraise for the continued use and preservation of National Trust places for generations to come.

Dates start from Good Friday, 30th March 2018 to Sunday, 15th April.

A Day in the Park

Traditional and weather depending, trips to the park are family fun. Get your pets involved with a long lazy walk, while children can get their bikes out on the field or dust off the badminton and rounders bats from winter storage. Pack your own lunch and enjoy the beginning of spring with your loved ones.
