Merry Christmas Everyone!

It’s nearing the end of 2017 and we would like to end the year with a huge, ‘Thank you’.

Whether we supplied wristbands, lanyards or other products for your event, business, venue or charity, every order brings new people, new ideas and new challenges to our ever-growing ranges of wristbands. So, thank you.

With Christmas fast approaching and the New Year’s parties about to kickstart, we won’t keep you long…

This year saw the introduction of radio frequency identification wristbands to our silicone and fabric ranges. RFID is a chip which is inserted inside silicone bands or placed in a card threaded through fabric bands. The chip stores and transfers information about the wearer of the wristband, the event and the venue via radio waves to your system with a tap of the wrist. RFID wristbands are a huge success for festivals and arena events with their high security and cashless features, and are fast becoming the way forward.

2017 also saw the increase in popularity for the litter free version of Tyvek wristbands, especially for council projects and large arena events. Eco-friendly, but still durable, water resistant and tough wear and tear, the litter free Tyvek wristband offers a safe, environment friendly alternative to the traditional entry band.

Further information on these movements will be posted on our blog in the new year, but in the meantime, information can be found on our Twitter and Facebook pages.

Also in the new year we project to update you on our school wristband ranges, from our current Times Table Wristbands, to future ideas involving our silicone plain and printed wristbands, and the involvement of RFID wristbands for higher education institutes.

Plus, we will be posting all the latest event news in order to give you a heads up on the latest festival updates, along with many more ideas on how our wristbands can benefit your events…

But for now, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone here at Pac Wristbands.
