Encouraging oneself and others may not come easy to everyone.
In a world full of social media, self-criticism and judgement of others can become the norm. It’s important then, to encourage positiveness and make sure to compliment others, as well as ourselves.
Schools often promote positiveness and encourage students to be kind to others. How do we know this? We receive a lot of school orders for wristbands designed with a single positive word or short phrase printed on them. The language used is often an action, such as expressing kindness or a personality trait, such as Humble.
Charities also use this approach with their wristband designs. Often, the most effective way to get a message across is not always with the loudest, in your face product, but rather, a simple more direct piece. Wristbands are unobtrusive to those around us. They are almost a piece of clothing; an extension of the outfit we wish to wear that day. But, in all their quietness, they are also emitting powerful messages to the wearer. Depending on what is printed on your wristband, depicts how you see yourself, others or your interests and purpose. It can also express how you wish to be perceived by others.
In today’s modern world where image is everything for some, it’s important to remind ourselves that the most important person you need to impress is yourself.
