Wristbands for Anti-Bullying Week

Bullying has evolved over the years. What started as a classroom / workroom act, now spreads across a wide range of mediums. Technology is a brilliant movement, but it is also an opening for bullies to continue their communication. As today is the beginning of Anti-Bullying Week 2019, we want to point out how wristbands can help communicate your emotions with others around you, safely and without threatening attention.

Those experiencing bullying often feel like they don’t have a voice to speak up and tell someone about it. Thus, the bullying cycle continues unnoticed and can have a profound effect on a person. Programs such as The Diana Award Anti-Bullying focus on schools to help students with anti-bullying messages. How do we know this? We provide wristbands for the program.

Anti-Bullying Wristbands

It may surprise people how wristbands can help in bullying situations, but there are a large number of ways they can be useful. People with disabilities (physical or mental) use wristbands to communicate with those around them. As mentioned above, we provide wristbands for students participating in The Diana Award scheme. All wristbands are created to customer specification, so if you’re an individual requesting wristbands for a family member, a charity working needing wristbands for helpline / awareness, a carer for a patient, or a company / school promoting kindness to others, we can produce wristbands for you.

Wristband Choices

The type of wristband you require is based on your purpose. Silicone and Fabric wristbands are the popular choice for keepsake individuals as they can be removed as and when needed and do not pose a threat to the wearer. They are comfortable and can be worn for several days without irritation.

If you’re throwing a fundraiser or event which highlights Anti-Bullying, you can use tyvek or vinyl wristbands. The single use bands are an excellent way to manage entry. Print can be in black or full colour. Prices vary, so check with the sales team.

Production & Delivery

Silicone and Fabric wristbands have a production time of 2-3 weeks, so you might have missed this week, but don’t worry. Bullying happens everyday, all year round. It might be Anti-Bullying week internationally right now, but it’s Anti-Bullying week every week in our eyes.
