Supporting Amazing Causes
A huge Thank You to The Diana Award for once again choosing Pac Wristbands to provide their Ambassador wristbands for their Anti-Bullying Campaign.
It’s always a pleasure to supply wristbands that we know are going to be used to support an amazing cause and The Diana Award’s Anti-Bullying Campaign is one of them. The campaign is part of The Diana Award’s major projects; educating and encouraging young people on how to prevent bullying within schools – from physical, verbal and digital – and training them to become Anti-Bullying Ambassadors within their environment.
The Charity and it’s Programmes:
The Diana Award charity’s purpose is to continue Princess Diana’s belief that young people have the power to change the world, and in doing so, it aims to foster, develop and inspire positive change in young people.
The Anti-Bullying Ambassador Programme is one of the charity’s main projects. Delivered through its renowned, peer-led approach, and backed by England’s Department of Education, The Diana Award’s one day Anti-Bullying Ambassador training equips young people, staff and parents with the knowledge, confidence and skills to effectively tackle bullying in their schools and communities online and offline.
Bullying is a serious and upsetting issue for all involved and often than not, talking openly about it doesn’t happen, which is what makes The Diana’s Award Anti-Bullying Programme so needed in modern society; especially with the freedom that technology allows for cyberbullying. The Anti-Bullying Ambassador Programme shows talking openly about these issues and providing resources on how to tackle the issue, change can happen.
Supplying wristbands for amazing causes is a wonderful opportunity for us here at @wristbandsuk. We wish all our customers and their charity events the best of luck for now and the future.
