Pride in London

Only 4 weeks to go until London Pride Festival!

 

Last month we posted a list of all the Pride Events happening around the UK in 2018 and this week, we want to remind you that the city’s capital is going to be a ray of colours for the London Pride Parade this July 7th.

The parade is sponsored by huge companies such as, Barclays, Tesco and Amazon Music, (to name a few), and this year the parade will feature Charlton Athletic FC – the first professional football club to participate in @LondonLGBTPride.

The club’s involvement is a huge step in the right direction for LGBT awareness in the sport industry; where the topic of LGBT itself has been taboo in the past.

The free parade will be held on the last day of London Pride Festival (which costs around one million to date) with Prides Got Talent winners, Busty and Ginger, along with many others taking the stage at Trafalgar Square.

Events begin on June 9th right to July 5th with this year’s festival being twice the size of its predecessors.
