PET Fabric Wristbands

The event scene is changing; so are our wristbands.

Climate change is upon us and with it, small changes to how our bands are made are now more important than ever. So, we’ve added PET fabric wristbands with a sliding bamboo bead to our environmentally friendly products.

Didn’t know about our green products?

That’s okay, we’re not one to brag. Our environmentally friendly products began with our litter free version of our best selling tyvek wristbands. These self-sticking wristbands usually have a removable tab. The difference with the litter free version: the sticky tab pulls back but remains attached to the band resulting in less to no litter when applying the wristbands.

Our next venture was silicone wristbands made from recycled silicone. Yes, you did read that right. Silicone is recycled and then used to make new bands. The end result is rather speckled because the recycled silicone could be any colour, but, so what?

We’ve been looking into new environmentally friendly products since the beginning of 2019, with the aim to provide our customers with a green alternative to their usual product. Since fabric wristbands are the go-to wristband for events like festivals, family or corporate parties and functions, we took our time to find the right material, print and closure for our customers. Here’s what we came up with.

So, it took us a while to get the right balance with material and closure sizes, but we can now confirm PET fabric wristbands are available to purchase through the sales office.
