Event News: Big Shaq Concert for Grenfell

It’s the month of giving and what better way to start it off than with a concert for the courageous hundreds who were affected by one of the years largest tragedies.

Wednesday 14th June this year saw the Grenfell Tower tragedy, where 71 people lost their lives after a fire broke out in the 24-storey building. In support of those who were affected, Universal Music teamed up with Michael Daphaa, best known for portraying fictional grime MC Big Shaq, to hold a concert at the Harrow Club on Friday 1st December.

In preparation for the event, we received an enquiry from Universal Music as to whether we could provide wristbands for the children affected by the tragedy, which we readily donated for the cause.

The night was a success with Michael Daphaa performing his single Mans Not Hot, signing t-shirts and taking pictures with those in attendance. In the audience, young people from Grenfell and those from the surrounding areas were present. Check out the event on Twitter.
